Technical Sales Engineer – Automotive

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Building, maintaining, and developing strategic relationships with customers, suppliers and Arrow partners.
- Focusing on technical needs of complex, emerging, or underpenetrated prospects.
- Creating new opportunities and product selection within the accounts and creating demand activity using technical resources as needed.
- Utilizing distribution and supplier knowledge to grow market share and sales.
- Understanding of customers’ needs and how to translate them to Arrow requirements or opportunities.
- Attending supplier training events to keep up to date on product line.
- Working within an assigned customer base to grow and develop the business, expanding market share and maximizing Arrow’s share of customer spend.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of related experience in the Electronics industry.
- Automotive industry preferred.
- Degree in electronics studies.
- Ability to sell, influence and negotiate.
- Ability to build relationships at all levels of customers and suppliers.
- Fluency in Italian and English language.
- Electronic component knowledge (Semi and IP&E products).
- Driver’s license.
