About the role

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals
  • Define and deploy the account coverage model by defining geos and optimizing coverage
  • Oversee the daily operations of the direct sales team
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key direct customers
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and progress against sales targets

Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in business development, direct sales, or revenue leadership roles
  • Strong understanding of cloud solutions, SaaS business models, and consumption-based pricing
  • Track record of developing and executing global sales strategies that drive revenue growth
  • Deep understanding of channel strategy and vendor partnerships
  • Experience leading diverse, geographically distributed teams across Field Sales, Inside Sales, Customer Success, and Technical Account Management
  • Demonstrated ability to design and optimize account coverage models, territories, and resource allocation
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to build, maintain, and expand relationships with key customers
  • Expertise in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Marketing, Pricing, Operations, and Finance
  • Experience managing sales budgets, controlling costs, and ensuring efficient use of resources
