About the role
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals
- Define and deploy the account coverage model by defining geos and optimizing coverage
- Oversee the daily operations of the direct sales team
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key direct customers
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and progress against sales targets
Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive experience in business development, direct sales, or revenue leadership roles
- Strong understanding of cloud solutions, SaaS business models, and consumption-based pricing
- Track record of developing and executing global sales strategies that drive revenue growth
- Deep understanding of channel strategy and vendor partnerships
- Experience leading diverse, geographically distributed teams across Field Sales, Inside Sales, Customer Success, and Technical Account Management
- Demonstrated ability to design and optimize account coverage models, territories, and resource allocation
- Strong executive presence with the ability to build, maintain, and expand relationships with key customers
- Expertise in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Marketing, Pricing, Operations, and Finance
- Experience managing sales budgets, controlling costs, and ensuring efficient use of resources
