About the role
- Discover and champion customer problems, translating VoC into winning product roadmaps and execution plans
- Own the AI & data platform product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning seamlessly with business objectives and customer outcomes
- Identify and prioritize product opportunities with a passion for growth, balancing customer value, feasibility, and business impact
- Lead market, customer, and competitive research and create business plans with compelling ROI
- Define platform capabilities, APIs, data services, and shared infrastructure that enable multiple products and personas
- Leverage exceptional product sense to make decisions on product functionality and GTM leading to product-market-fit and scale
- Collaborate and lead agile teams of world-class engineering, data, architecture, and design experts to deliver scalable, secure, and extensible platform solutions
- Inspire a level of collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success that results in teams looking to you for go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, and product adoption
- Execute flawlessly on product launches, build platform monitoring that ensures customer adoption, and champion continuous improvement across the organization
- Build, lead, and mentor a team of Product Managers, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, goal setting, professional growth, and performance management
- Set clear goals, expectations, and success metrics for the product team
- Lead from the front, fostering strong product management best practices, including AI product management, customer discovery, prioritization, roadmap planning, stakeholder communication and success metrics
- Act as a role model for collaboration, accountability, and customer-centric thinking
- Scale the product organization as the platform and business grow
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in a technical field; MBA a plus
- 12 years of industry experience with a bachelor’s degree or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree
- Deep experience in the software industry, with AI & data experience in the last 5 years a must-have; supply chain industry experience a plus
- Demonstrated experience managing and leading high performing teams
- Experience defining shared software platform capabilities and managing portfolios of products across related workflows
- Strong strategic thinking combined with world-class execution skills
- Ability to lead by influencing in all directions internal and external to an organization
- Comfortable navigating through ambiguity and making data-drive trade-off and prioritization decisions
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage executives, partners, customers, teams, and colleagues
- Willingness to travel as required
