About the role

  • Experience in hardware design and system integration, preferably in medical devices or similar industries.
  • Develop and optimize hardware designs, including PCB layouts and electrical systems, using tools such as OrCAD, and PADS.
  • Collaborate with mechanical and software teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware components.
  • Address system-level challenges, including ESD, EMI, and EMC issues, and refine stepper motor algorithms for enhanced torque performance.
  • Work on air sensor reliability, display functionality, and packaging design to meet FDA requirements.
  • Support risk reduction testing, pre-verification testing, and formal verification processes.
  • Develop and validate test protocols, methods, and tools for hardware systems.
  • Proficiency in ECAD tools (OrCAD, PADS) and simulation tools (HyperLynx, PSPICE).

Requirements

  • Experience in hardware design and system integration, preferably in medical devices or similar industries.
  • Develop and optimize hardware designs, including PCB layouts and electrical systems, using tools such as OrCAD, and PADS.
  • Collaborate with mechanical and software teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware components.
  • Address system-level challenges, including ESD, EMI, and EMC issues, and refine stepper motor algorithms for enhanced torque performance.
  • Work on air sensor reliability, display functionality, and packaging design to meet FDA requirements.
  • Support risk reduction testing, pre-verification testing, and formal verification processes.
  • Develop and validate test protocols, methods, and tools for hardware systems.
  • Proficiency in ECAD tools (OrCAD, PADS) and simulation tools (HyperLynx, PSPICE).
  • Experience in several of the following topics: low-power circuit design, DC/DC converters, power management methods, audio circuit design, high speed signals, and analog design.
  • Experience with microcontrollers, digital circuit design and various communications protocols such as I2C, UART, SPI, USB, MIPI, I2S, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of system integration challenges, including ESD, EMI, EMC.
  • Experience in stepper motor control design.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Prepare and maintain high-level documentation for design, testing, and system integration.
  • Lab instruments like Multi-meters, Oscilloscope, Function Generator, Logic analyzer etc.
