About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work closely with the Director of Field Operations, Commissioning & Warranty Manager, and other Service Technicians to satisfy customer needs appropriately and timely
- Support field efforts including retrofits, repowering, commissioning, and service repairs
- Ensure tools and equipment used in field-related efforts operate properly
- Manage Concur’s expense reporting system
- Submit daily Field Service Reports
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Willingness to travel extensively and frequently, up to 90% of a calendar year
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Experience using basic hand tools
- Basic math skills
- Entry-level knowledge of mechanical systems
- Entry-level knowledge of electrical systems
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and customer-facing skills
- Dexterity to perform manual labor in extreme temperatures
- Preferred: utility-scale solar experience
- Preferred: utility-scale construction knowledge
- Preferred: entry-level Microsoft Office Suite experience
- Preferred: entry-level Salesforce experience
- Preferred: experience with mechanical and electrical tools
- OSHA 10 or higher preferred
- NFPA 70E preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Standing 75% of work hours and computer work 25% of work hours
