Software Business Development Manager – Utility Scale Solar
ArraySoftware Business Development Manager driving growth and adoption of solar performance software solutions. Responsible for sales strategy, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive revenue growth by positioning and selling software solutions
- Identify and develop new software revenue opportunities
- Build and manage a pipeline of software and SaaS opportunities
- Partner closely with Account Managers
- Engage with owners and operators post-installation to drive adoption
- Lead product demonstrations and value-based discussions
- Act as a key liaison between Product Management, Sales, Engineering, and Marketing teams
- Maintain a strong understanding of the utility-scale solar market
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management
- Demonstrated ability to sell value-based solutions
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and commercial teams
- Self-starter capable of operating effectively in a hybrid, evolving role
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field
