About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Simultaneously serving multiple emergency rooms, hospital medical floors, and psychiatric crisis programs to evaluate and treat patients in crisis
- Receiving support throughout your shift by our 24/7 access center who triages cases
- Directing and/or implementing psychotherapeutic treatments and prescribing medication
- Utilizing a collaborative care approach within your partner’s healthcare treatment team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist
- Unrestricted, independent licensure
- Established and updated CAQH and FCVS profiles
- Experience providing psychiatric care to all age groups
- Treating patients in acute crisis and providing stabilizing treatment in 24/7 settings
- Communicating with patients from various backgrounds and providing culturally competent care
- Experience working with multiple EMRs at the same time
- Advanced technical proficiency in using hardware (Laptop, camera, monitors), Windows systems, Microsoft software, and EMR software over several years of experience in telehealth
