About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve multiple emergency rooms, hospital medical floors, and psychiatric crisis programs
Evaluate and treat patients in crisis and find the most appropriate level of care
Receive support throughout your shift by a 24/7 access center who triages cases
Direct and/or implement psychotherapeutic treatments and prescribe medication to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders
Utilize a collaborative care approach within partner’s healthcare treatment team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist
Unrestricted, independent licensure
Established and updated CAQH and FCVS profiles
Experience providing psychiatric care to all age groups
Treating patients in acute crisis and providing stabilizing treatment in 24/7 settings
Communicating with patients from various backgrounds and providing culturally competent care
Experience working with multiple EMRs at the same time
Advanced technical proficiency, including using hardware (Laptop, camera, monitors), Windows systems, Microsoft software, and EMR software
Thrive in a supportive, collaborative, solutions-oriented, and inclusive environment
Passionate about transforming access to quality behavioral care through innovative technology
