About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve multiple emergency rooms, hospital medical floors, and psychiatric crisis programs
- Evaluate and treat patients in crisis and find the most appropriate level of care
- Receive support throughout your shift by a 24/7 access center who triages cases
- Direct and/or implement psychotherapeutic treatments and prescribe medication to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders
- Utilize a collaborative care approach within partner’s healthcare treatment team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist
- Unrestricted, independent licensure
- Established and updated CAQH and FCVS profiles
- Experience providing psychiatric care to all age groups
- Treating patients in acute crisis and providing stabilizing treatment in 24/7 settings
- Communicating with patients from various backgrounds and providing culturally competent care
- Experience working with multiple EMRs at the same time
- Advanced technical proficiency, including using hardware (Laptop, camera, monitors), Windows systems, Microsoft software, and EMR software
- Thrive in a supportive, collaborative, solutions-oriented, and inclusive environment
