About the role
- Ensure customer satisfaction: welcome, assist, identify needs and advise customers across the store
- Provide specialized advice on cosmetics, cosmetic kits and DIY cosmetic formulations, as well as ready-to-use organic products, active ingredients and essential oils
- Coordinate new product launches in collaboration with development teams
- Deliver highly relevant, high-quality customer advice
- Process sales recording and payments
- Ensure smooth operation of checkout and Click & Collect
- Ensure cash register accuracy and avoid errors
- Ensure all products are correctly scanned/entered at checkout
- Recommend complementary products to customers
- Participate in cleaning tasks
- Contribute to store activities, including tidying, restocking shelves, cleaning, setting up promotions and window displays
Requirements
- Degree or training in Cosmetics/Esthetics
- Strong knowledge of natural cosmetics, plant extracts and skin care
- Good knowledge of essential oils, absolutes and CO2 extracts
- Knowledge of aromatic diffusion products (diffusers)
- Master commercial techniques: welcoming, advising, selling and customer retention
- Perform basic arithmetic operations
- Familiarity with sales entry and payment processing procedures
- Knowledge of the store layout
- Excellent customer relations skills and strong service orientation
- Energetic, versatile and able to work in a team
- Passionate about retail sales and in-store customer advising
- Rigorous and precise
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work quickly, especially during busy periods
- Maintain a friendly, courteous manner and adapt to different customer profiles
- Autonomous and proactive, able to make suggestions for improvement
- High standards for cleanliness, organization and customer reception
- Fluent in French, concise and clear orally; good spoken English
