About the role

  • Oversee and manage all store activities, ensuring customer satisfaction and achievement of sales targets
  • Lead and manage your sales, cashier, stock and workshop teams (motivation, organization, communication, vision, setting and sharing objectives and results…)
  • Be responsible for the quality of customer reception, services and advice to guarantee customer satisfaction (strong on-floor presence, versatility)
  • Produce reports and business analyses and propose continuous improvement measures
  • Optimize staff schedules while respecting allocated budgets
  • Ensure staff training on best practices for customer reception, advice and sales, product knowledge and protocols, and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with protocols
  • Oversee supplies with the goal of “zero stockouts” by ensuring efficient stock organization and replenishment of shelves; organize and lead inventories to minimize shrinkage
  • Monitor cash registers and ensure bank deposit compliance, and report information to accounting
  • Ensure the smooth organization and execution of store opening and closing procedures
  • Coordinate external service providers to ensure premises compliance and safety
  • Be responsible for the store presentation and surrounding exterior areas: maintaining the company image (cleanliness, merchandising setup, optimizing customer flow, etc.)

Requirements

  • Education in business/commerce
  • 3 to 5 years' experience managing teams in the retail sector
  • Knowledge of cosmetic and/or organic products is a plus
  • Strong understanding of retail operations: customer advising, reporting, KPIs and stock management
  • Proficient with office software (Microsoft Office) and POS systems (ideally Cegid), and a good command of English
