About the role

  • Lead and manage all store activities to ensure customer satisfaction and achievement of commercial targets
  • Manage the sales, cashier, stock and workshop teams (motivation, organisation, communication, vision, alignment and sharing of objectives and results)
  • Be responsible for the quality of customer reception, services and advice to guarantee customer satisfaction (strong on‑floor presence, versatility)
  • Prepare reports and activity analyses and propose opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Optimise staff schedules while respecting allocated budgets
  • Provide staff training on best practices for customer reception, advising and sales, on products and protocols, and carry out regular audits to ensure compliance with procedures
  • Oversee supplies with the aim of "zero stock outages" by ensuring efficient organisation of inventory and shelf replenishment; organise and lead stock takes to limit shrinkage
  • Monitor cash registers and ensure deposit compliance, reporting information to the accounting department
  • Ensure the proper organisation and execution of store opening and closing procedures
  • Coordinate external service providers (technical maintenance, premises and equipment cleaning, security, etc.) to ensure premises compliance and safety
  • Be responsible for the presentation of the store and its external areas: maintain the company image (cleanliness, merchandising setup, optimisation of customer flow, etc.)

Requirements

  • Commercial/business education with 3–5 years of team management experience in the retail sector
  • Knowledge of cosmetics and/or organic products is an asset
  • Strong understanding of retail essentials: customer advising, reporting, performance indicators (KPIs), and stock management
  • Natural leadership that enables you to effectively support and develop your team
  • Proficient with office software (Microsoft Office) and point‑of‑sale systems (ideally Cegid)
  • Good level of English
