About the role

  • Lead and manage all store activities, ensuring customer satisfaction and achievement of sales targets
  • Manage the sales, cashier, inventory and workshop teams (motivation, organization, communication, vision, sharing objectives and results)
  • Be responsible for the quality of reception, services and customer advice to guarantee customer satisfaction (strong on-floor presence, versatility)
  • Carry out activity reporting and analysis and propose continuous improvement measures
  • Optimize staff schedules while respecting allocated budgets
  • Ensure staff training on best practices for customer reception, advising and selling, product knowledge and protocols, and conduct regular audits to ensure protocol compliance
  • Oversee supply and inventory with the aim of "zero stockouts" by ensuring efficient stock organization and shelf replenishment; organize and lead inventories to limit shrinkage
  • Monitor tills and the correctness of bank deposits and report information to accounting
  • Ensure flawless organization and execution of store opening and closing procedures
  • Coordinate external service providers to ensure premises compliance and safety
  • Be responsible for the presentation of the store and surrounding exterior areas

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years' experience managing teams in the retail sector
  • Knowledge of cosmetic and/or organic products is a plus
  • Strong understanding of retail operations: customer advising, reporting, performance indicators, inventory management
  • Proficient with office software (Microsoft Office) and point-of-sale systems (ideally Cegid)
  • Good command of English
