About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The Sales Specialist reports to the Director of Sales, UK & Europe.
- Manage the proactive outreach to acquire and grow the business of an assigned group of small travel partner accounts in the UK & Europe.
- Responsible for developing close relationships with the trade channel including acquiring new partners.
- Support and achieve aggressive growth targets and identify and increase market penetration within assigned accounts.
- Successfully manage existing partner relationships and deepen the partnerships.
- Build sales campaigns to drive bookings and revenue.
- Attend and participate in various sales conferences, training, and industry events as required to nurture product awareness.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Post-Secondary education and experience in the Travel/Tourism industry (a four-year degree is preferred)
- Prior sales or business development experience preferred.
- Experience in relationship building through combination of in person, over the phone, and digital interactions.
- Proven track record of success in achieving goals.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products, Salesforce, Concur, and other systems.
- Strong presentation and training skills, both in person and via webinars.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Fluency in French or German is preferred.
