About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage all direct and indirect selling activities within an assigned territory consisting of distributors, strategic partners, prospects, and current customers.
- Maintain quality customer relationships by identifying customer needs and expectations.
- Acquire in-depth industry and company knowledge to articulate product features and benefits.
- Provide regular and efficient updates on assigned accounts to sales management.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts.
- Attend and manage trade shows.
- Interface with company personnel to review sales status and performance.
- Develop new and existing customer relationships using ethical sales methods.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5-7 years of Sales experience with demonstrated track record of success in driving customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
- Experience selling to Public Sector and Distributors.
- Ability to identify new and existing opportunities through basic consultative selling methodology.
- Knowledge of CRM and opportunity management systems preferably Salesforce.com.
- Ability to work flexible schedule and travel as necessary.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft office, excel, and outlook.
- Strong work ethic and employment history.
