About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage all direct and indirect selling activities within an assigned territory consisting of distributors, strategic partners, prospects, and current customers.
  • Maintain quality customer relationships by identifying customer needs and expectations.
  • Acquire in-depth industry and company knowledge to articulate product features and benefits.
  • Provide regular and efficient updates on assigned accounts to sales management.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts.
  • Attend and manage trade shows.
  • Interface with company personnel to review sales status and performance.
  • Develop new and existing customer relationships using ethical sales methods.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5-7 years of Sales experience with demonstrated track record of success in driving customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
  • Experience selling to Public Sector and Distributors.
  • Ability to identify new and existing opportunities through basic consultative selling methodology.
  • Knowledge of CRM and opportunity management systems preferably Salesforce.com.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule and travel as necessary.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft office, excel, and outlook.
  • Strong work ethic and employment history.
