About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Improve the lives of clients by providing financial data to help them grow and succeed
- Develop and maintain accounting principles, practices and procedures for accurate financial statements
- Address tight deadlines with multiple accounting activities including general ledger maintenance and financial reporting
- Participate and lead accounting software implementations or integrations
- Communicate with senior-level executives about financial issues and deliverables
- Train and supervise staff accountants on daily functions
- Assist in corporate and business owner tax matters as required
- Lead day-to-day accounting operations of various clients and coordinate staff and AP resources
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or related field required or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial reporting including GL, AP, AR, PR and period end closes
- Property management accounting or proven track record of working with real estate and property management clients is required
- Proficiency in accounting software applications including QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Yardi, and/or MS Business Central (MS Dynamics 365)
