Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and provide direction to small team of Managers and staff on multiple clients
Plan, direct and coordinate with client and financial management outsourcing staff
Provide Subject Matter Expertise for real estate clients
Perform detailed reviews of client-use only and compiled financial statements and supporting schedules
Liaison with external auditors and internal decision makers
Foster proactive working relationships with clients and cross-functional departments
Support business development efforts by participating in prospect meetings, calculating pricing, and drafting engagement letters
Drive staff career and skills development by engaging with them as their Performance Coach

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related, or equivalent work experience
Minimum 8 years’ experience in accounting with public accounting and industry accounting
Full cycle accounting with financial reporting, A/P and A/R, and reconciliation experience, including US GAAP
Property management accounting experience or working with real estate and property management clients
Multiple accounting software applications including QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Yardi, or MS Business Central
Minimum 4 years’ experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment
Preferred CPA or CMA license
Experience with cloud-based accounting system conversions
