Key responsibilities & impact

Perform technical reviews of tax returns for high-net-worth individuals
Provide consultation on business and/or personal transactions
Manage larger and complex engagements and workflow of multiple clients
Review or conduct high level research of complex or emerging tax issues
Engage with our internal business development department
Contribute to technical publications and engaging in speaking opportunities
Develop our internal professionals by leading formal learning opportunities/trainings
Continually build on technical expertise in taxation by attending continuing professional education courses

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or related discipline
Qualified to practice before the IRS (i.e., JD, CPA, or EA)
Minimum of 8 years' experience in public accounting in taxation or equivalent experience
Minimum of 4 years in a managerial role involving clients and team members
Advanced understanding of planning and compliance concepts related to high-net-worth individual and fiduciary income tax, gift tax, and estate tax
Possess a strong knowledge of accounting theory and federal, state and local tax laws
