About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assume overall responsibility for the planning, execution, and completion of multiple healthcare assurance engagements
- Manage engagement workflows and deliverables to minimize risks and surprises
- Lead engagement planning, including scheduling, staffing, risk assessments, and overall audit approach
- Review engagement workpapers and reports to ensure compliance with firm policies and regulatory standards
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to supervisors and staff
- Monitor budgets to actual and actively manage engagement profitability
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
- Active CPA license
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting
- Direct healthcare audit experience, including hospitals, health systems, or federally funded healthcare programs
- Exposure to healthcare reimbursement, regulatory reporting, or compliance environments
