About the role

  • Support tax technology and automation initiatives through change management, training, and adoption execution.
  • Execute and coordinate the Tax Change Management program, including deployment, scheduling, and ongoing support.
  • Partner with Tax Operations, Q2C, Resource Management, and tax teams to support priority initiatives.
  • Develop, maintain, and socialize tax standardization playbooks and best practices.
  • Design and deliver training for new tax tools, automated workflows, and standardized processes.
  • Work with tax vendors on training curriculum and plans to develop an effective curriculum tailored to different levels in the tax practice.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for end users during rollouts, adoption, and stabilization.
  • Lead our local tax change management program and socialize and resolve issues and conflicts with tax leadership.
  • Monitor adoption and usage; provide feedback and recommendations to leadership for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting tax; Big 4 preferred
  • Experience supporting process improvement, standardization, or automation initiatives
  • Solid understanding of tax compliance and reporting processes
  • Working knowledge of tax software and automation tools (e.g., RPA, AI, data analytics)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience supporting change and adoption
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 80%
