About the role
- Provide hands-on support, system enhancements, and troubleshooting for Microsoft Dynamics GP
- Analyze and document business and system requirements; create design documents for enhancement requests
- Configure systems based on client needs and develop test scripts for customer testing phases
- Train end users on Dynamics GP functionality and recommend process and procedure improvements
- Develop reports and dashboards using GP reporting tools and test/document system resolutions
- Serve as the client’s primary Managed Services Lead (MSL), managing proactive and strategic system discussions
- Coordinate issue resolution, enhancement requests, system checks, updates, and end-user training
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while managing the profitability of each engagement
- Coach and mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth and efficiency of the Managed Services team
- Participate in internal initiatives to enhance systems, metrics, processes, and knowledge sharing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field — or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience implementing and/or supporting Microsoft Dynamics GP
- Strong understanding of accounting software modules (GL, AP, AR, reconciliations) and financial accounting principles
- Hands-on experience with GP customization tools, ISVs, and 3rd party add-ons
- Proficiency in reporting tools such as SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Crystal Reports, FRx, and Report Writer
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members
- Familiarity with Agile and Sprint development methodologies is a plus
