About the role

  • Ensure equipment, machinery, and building systems run smoothly through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, focusing on reliability and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues before they escalate.
  • Work closely with maintenance technicians to quickly troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment problems, implement the best solutions and return equipment to an optimal state as soon as possible.
  • Identify and implement the ideal tools and techniques for maintenance technicians to solve technical problems.
  • Provide training to mechanics and/or operators on the operation of maintenance equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and enhance equipment reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures during maintenance activities.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or other science discipline.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Demonstrate and validate expertise of both the technology and the continuous improvement process, including: Fundamental principles (mass balance, energy balance, process parameters, governing equations) Plant unit knowledge (tracing lines, equipment, process control technology) Knowledge of key continuous improvement systems (Six Sigma, LEAN)
