About the role

  • Lead the design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of equipment for business unit facilities.
  • Develop plans to upgrade electrical infrastructure across business unit North America plants.
  • Develop and maintain contractor and vendor relationships and contracts related to engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with business leaders in our new product introduction process to evaluate and assist in prioritizing growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Research and Development and Operations Leadership to conduct plant trials and scale-ups on new product opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement a PSM program including Process Safety Information, Process Hazard Analysis, Pre-Startup Safety Review, Mechanical Integrity, Management of Change, Incident Investigation, and Compliance Audits.
  • Develop and manage project implementation schedules to ensure that they meet or exceed company and customer expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, required
  • Chemical Engineering degree strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in process manufacturing (chemical preferred) and 3+ years of experience project engineering experience, required.
  • Working knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) policies and practices, preferred.
