About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and advance enterprise architecture strategies, standards, roadmaps, and governance processes
  • Provide architectural leadership across security, infrastructure, network, application, and enterprise technology domains
  • Align technology investments and solutions with organizational goals
  • Collaborate with business leaders, project teams, technology teams, vendors, and industry partners
  • Communicate architectural strategies, standards, decisions, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Create and maintain reference architectures, design patterns, and architectural guidelines
  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise security architectures
  • Develop and communicate enterprise architecture principles, standards, and technology roadmaps
  • Establish technology standards, policies, best practices, and governance processes
  • Drive innovation, reduce technical debt, and foster continuous improvement
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, security controls, and architectural solutions
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate architectural risks related to security, privacy, compliance, and operational resiliency
  • Integrate security, resiliency, and compliance principles into technology solutions
  • Lead proof-of-concept efforts, technology assessments, and solution evaluations
  • Perform high-level capacity planning and support business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Five (5) years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Five (5) years of experience in an IT architecture role required
  • Experience developing enterprise architecture frameworks, standards, principles, roadmaps, and reference architectures
  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise technology solutions
  • Experience leading technology initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Experience collaborating with business and technology leaders to align technology strategies with business objectives
  • Experience evaluating, selecting, and implementing technology solutions
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language
  • Ability to balance business objectives, risk, cost, and technical requirements
  • PMP, TOGAF, CISSP, HITRUST, or other relevant professional certifications preferred
  • Experience with enterprise security architecture and cybersecurity frameworks preferred
  • Experience with ITIL processes and service lifecycle management preferred
  • Experience with business continuity and disaster recovery planning preferred
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and application lifecycle management preferred
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred
  • Experience with automation platforms, cloud technologies, APIs, containerization, microservices, and service-oriented architectures preferred
  • Must ensure the security and confidentiality of records and information
  • Must adhere to segregation of duties guidelines
