About the role
- Handle inbound calls and manage shared inboxes, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
- Schedule service and repair appointments for our field engineers.
- Maintain regular contact with field teams to monitor job progress and locations.
- Liaise with customers and relevant parties to resolve delays, queries, and keep everyone informed.
- Review completed jobs, issue quotations, and generate invoices.
- Assist with invoice queries and process credits where necessary.
- Keep customer records accurate and up to date across systems and spreadsheets.
- Provide administrative support across the department and to field staff when needed.
Requirements
- A good standard of education, including GCSEs in Maths and English.
- Previous experience in a customer service environment (SAP experience is a plus).
- Strong communication skills across all levels of the business.
- High attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines while following procedures.
- Clear and accurate information handling, with strong listening and questioning skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
