About the role

  • Responsible for the administrative work associated with the Director and with the Foster Care Review Board (FCRB), CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) and Court Improvement programs.
  • Maintain and organize files and database.
  • Compose and prepare correspondence, agendas, meeting minutes, statistical reports, and memoranda.
  • Assist the Division Director and management staff in monitoring budget, including review of monthly financial transaction reports and outstanding encumbrances for accuracy and processing any necessary corrections.
  • Assist in the process to enhance the board member tracking database, securing translation/interpretations services for the FCRB, processing and updating review board member records, coordinating state board meetings, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • This position requires a high school diploma or GED and four years experience in the administrative or office management field, including budgetary and financial experience.
  • Knowledge and skill to operate computer software, such as Word, ACCESS, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Internet, and Intranet.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with confidential materials.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and effectively and independently handle several tasks, projects, and assignment simultaneously.
  • Travel level: negligible.
