Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, and maintain Oracle database environments that support critical business applications and operations
Monitor database performance, reliability, and security while identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement
Partner with infrastructure, application, and project teams to implement scalable database solutions that meet business needs
Support operational activities and troubleshoot complex database issues in a distributed server environment
Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to help ensure the availability and stability of critical database systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelors' degree in Information Technology or related field
Seven (7) years of prior relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience
Strong knowledge of Oracle database technologies, including design, performance tuning, maintenance, backup, and recovery
Experience working with Oracle Exadata platforms and supporting high-availability environments
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop effective, long-term solutions
Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical teams
Proactive, customer-focused mindset with a commitment to reliability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
