About the role

  • Develop mechanical parts, assemblies, and detailed drawings using SolidWorks in a PLM environment.
  • Design mechanical components considering manufacturing constraints (cut & bending, die, molding, piping).
  • Manage and develop product BOMs using SAP and PLM systems.
  • Create and release detailed technical documentation, including component specifications.
  • Manage technical aspects with suppliers in partnership with Procurement.
  • Collaborate closely with other R&D teams, Quality, and Manufacturing.
  • Support Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) in component qualification activities.
  • Apply PPAP methodologies and tolerance analysis during development.
  • Ensure adherence to product development and industrialization processes.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 4–5 years of experience, ideally in HVAC or White Goods industries.
  • Strong proficiency with SolidWorks and PLM systems (3DExperience preferred).
  • Experience with manufacturing technologies: Cut & bending, die, mold processes, and piping.
  • Strong knowledge of PPAP, tolerance analysis, and industrial development processes.
  • Experience in technical supplier management.
  • Problem-solving mindset and strong teamwork skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Availability to travel.
