About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join Arista’s FedRAMP CloudVision-as-a-Service SRE team
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and stability of the global CloudVision service fleet
- Drive, develop, and lead projects involving data platform architecture and performance, capacity planning, autoscaling, disaster recovery, observability, change management, CI/CD, service network architecture, cost optimizations, infrastructure, and cloud-first application security
- Participate in the FedRAMP on-call rotation split between West and East coast timezones
- Develop, operate, and work with databases directly on Kubernetes or through managed database products
- Integrate with open source software projects powering microservices, monitoring infrastructure, and other systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Experience managing FedRAMP SaaS environments or other highly regulated systems
- Proven experience developing or managing deployments of distributed database systems or large-scale SaaS applications
- Proficiency in Python, Go (Golang), or other programming languages
- Strong scripting skills in Bash or other scripting languages
- Familiarity with GCP and GKE preferred
