About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Join a strong team of clinicians, data scientists, and engineers
  • Help develop and maintain Arine’s software platform to optimize patient outcomes
  • Supervise and maintain the clinical quality of our product content
  • Assist in clinical program development
  • Serve as a liaison for patients and outside providers on product enhancements
  • Maintain awareness of emerging patterns, treatment guidelines, and best practices
  • Promote cooperation and effective communication within the team and with clients

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited college/university
  • Licensed by a Board of Pharmacy and in good standing
  • Completion of a PGY-1 residency, or equivalent experience
  • Board certified in a relevant area
  • Ability to review and assess the appropriateness of prescriptions with respect to age and disease-state specific considerations
  • Knowledge of chronic disease states, such as diabetes, heart failure, COPD, asthma, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, dyslipidemia, HIV, ESRD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, and thought disorders
  • Has knowledge of influence of patient’s age, sex, concomitant disease states, concurrent drug therapy, foods and diagnostic procedures on drug activity and disposition
  • Has knowledge of local, state, and federal regulatory requirements related to areas of functional responsibility
  • Understanding and experience implementing CMS, PQA, HEDIS measures including but not limited to MTM, Part D Adherence, Statin Starts (SUPD/SPC), and Part C measures
  • Has knowledge of prescription and non-prescription drugs and their indications, efficacy, dosage, mechanisms of action, major contraindications and potential side effects
  • Willingness to be taught/learn new skills
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for extended periods of time, with no restrictions for keyboarding
  • Ability to organize and set priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities
  • Excellent communication skills with clients and internal team
  • Ability to apply judgment and make informed decisions in order to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and foster effective working relationships and build consensus.
