About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for preparing and continuously developing the consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS, including consideration of regulatory and ESG requirements
- Manage complex accounting and consolidation topics and ensure accurate intercompany reconciliations and data quality at group level
- Coordinate audits and work closely with external auditors
- Contribute to the development and implementation of transfer pricing structures and ensure appropriate documentation
- Take over and optimize accounting and reporting processes of individual group companies to ensure efficient and standardized financial operations
- Serve as an interface to internal departments and external stakeholders such as auditors and tax advisors
- Assist in managing liquidity topics and in the further development of related processes
- Prepare decision‑relevant analyses and actively participate in cross‑departmental initiatives and projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Several years of professional experience in group accounting, ideally in a comparable role
- Ideally a degree in economics, business administration or a comparable qualification with a focus on finance, controlling or accounting
- Knowledge of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Strong numerical affinity and problem‑solving skills
- Confident user of MS Office, in particular Excel; ideally experience with ERP systems and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Team player with initiative and a high level of responsibility
- Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
