About the role

  • Nurse Case Manager (NCM) is single point of contact for patients and caregivers
  • Align regionally to educate patients, caregivers and families affected by generalized Myasthenia Gravis (gMG)
  • Provide direct educational training and support about gMG and prescribed argenx products
  • Provide resources to help patients manage their disease and coordinate treatment
  • Participate in one-on-one communications with patients and caregivers
  • Manage patient cases across regions as coverage and volume requires
  • Communicate insurance coverage updates and findings to patients/caregivers
  • Review and educate patients/caregivers on financial assistance programs eligibility
  • Coordinate logistical support for patients to receive therapy and manage disease
  • Collaborate with Patient Access Specialist, Case Coordinator, Field Reimbursement Manager to resolve reimbursement issues
  • Engage with provider case coordinators to ensure individualized support
  • Empower patients through patient-focused education to advocate for themselves
  • Develop relationships and manage complex challenges facing patients and caregivers
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry laws and company policies
  • Aligned regional travel required to support patient programs (less than 50%)

Requirements

  • Current RN License in good standing
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Preferred 5+ yrs clinical experience in healthcare (hospital, home health, pharmaceutical or biotech)
  • 2-5+ years of case management
  • 2+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry a plus
  • Reimbursement experience a plus
  • Bilingual or multilingual a plus
  • Excellent communicator and problem-solver
  • Demonstrated time management, planning and prioritization skills; ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrated effective presentation skills; ability to motivate others
  • Excellent interpersonal (written and verbal) skills; ability to work cross-functional and independently
  • Ability to develop, follow and execute plans independently
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships internally & externally
  • Adaptable to changing work environments and responsibilities
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment with flexibility and a positive attitude
  • Fully competent in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed
  • Participate in and complete required pharmacovigilance training
  • Comply with all relevant industry laws and argenx’s policies
  • Willingness to travel (less than 50%) for regional patient education
