About the role
- Design and implementation of a completely new production controlling system in the process industry (chemical).
- Development and implementation of new strategies to optimize production processes and increase efficiency by identifying and analyzing weaknesses and deriving improvement measures.
- Preparation and analysis of product costings and product comparisons for profit-optimized production allocation planning.
- Implementation and management of all relevant processes in SAP.
- Definition of KPIs: setting performance indicators to measure and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of production processes.
- Regular review and adjustment of KPIs to ensure continuous improvement.
- Report creation: generation and analysis of reports to monitor production performance.
- Presentation of results and development of recommendations for management.
- Establishment of processes for tracking planned vs. actual deviations: introduction of procedures to identify and correct variances between planned and actual production performance.
- Ensuring timely and accurate communication of deviations and their causes.
- Planning and forecasting: supporting the integration of production data into company-wide financial planning and providing data and analyses for rolling forecast planning.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the process industry, ideally in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
- Very good knowledge of SAP and Excel; experience with Power BI is an advantage.
- Analytical skills and structured working: ability to analyze complex data and develop practical solutions.
- Structured and methodical way of working with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and team skills: excellent ability to communicate and collaborate with different departments and teams.
- Ability to act as an interface between production, planning, finance and senior management.
