About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan and execute financial audits supporting TSA Travel Services utilizing SAP Concur, Citi Manager, or other government-designated travel management system, as well as general accounting and financial management principles, applicable laws, policies, and regulations.
- Audit all travel vouchers that meet TSA’s pre-payment audit criteria. Maintain a database of identified travel voucher issues to track the types of issues, the offices, traveler, document approvers, etc.
- Maintain electronic records of audit inquiries and communications.
- Provide weekly and monthly status reports of work accomplished, including providing insights into trends and recommendations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree and 4-7 years' experience.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Strong written and interpersonal communications skills to support interactions with a broad range of clients throughout TSA as well as the remote contract peers.
- Ability to manage evolving work priorities, leveraging personal organization and time management skills to ensure all work is completed based on program and client timelines.
- Proficient in data collection and analysis.
- **Preferred**
- Experience in government finance, audit, and policy initiatives.
- Experience in TSA or governmental travel policy management or execution.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and adult training activities.
