About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Shape, create, and maintain the client's ServiceNow platform.
Collaborate with teams to understand business needs and convert them into technical solutions.
Lead the customization and development of ServiceNow applications, including Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, and Service Catalog.
Craft and enhance applications using platforms like ServiceNow, SharePoint Online, Power Apps/Power Automate, Salesforce, and Tableau.
Partner with Product Owners, the Platform Architect, and Business Analysts to strategize optimal implementation approaches.
Develop, conduct, and document test cases for newly developed functionality.
Leverage expertise in standard ARL development environment tools, such as Jira and GitLab.
Undertake tasks related to maintaining business system applications with respect to the Risk Management Framework.
Manage source code, scripts, diagrams, and documentation for systems under management.
Lead and mentor a team of ServiceNow Developers.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be a US Citizen.
Required to pass a background check and obtain and hold a DoD clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with hands-on development experience.
Minimum: ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator (CSA)
Preferred: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, and other ServiceNow scripting languages.
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform components, including Service Catalog, Incident Management, Change Management, and Service Portal.
Experience with ServiceNow integration, including REST and SOAP APIs.
Solid understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
