About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Shape, create, and maintain ServiceNow platform.
- Collaborate with teams to understand business needs and technical solutions.
- Lead customization and development of ServiceNow applications.
- Craft and enhance applications using Development Platforms like ServiceNow, SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Salesforce, and Tableau.
- Partner with Product Owners, Platform Architect, and Business Analysts.
- Develop, conduct, and document test cases for new functionality.
- Utilize standard ARL development tools like Jira and GitLab.
- Lead and mentor ServiceNow Developers.
- Maintain business system applications and software capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with Risk Management Framework and execute unit/regression tests.
- Manage source code, scripts, diagrams, and documentation for systems.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be a US Citizen.
- Required to pass a background check and obtain and hold a DoD clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with hands-on development experience.
- Minimum: ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator (CSA)
- Preferred: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
- Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, and other ServiceNow scripting languages.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform components, including Service Catalog, Incident Management, Change Management, and Service Portal.
- Experience with ServiceNow integration, including REST and SOAP APIs.
- Solid understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
