About the role

  • Review and identify, document, and resolve issues with technical, programmatic, and operations data
  • Participate in International Space Station (ISS) Visiting Vehicle (VV) Integration Milestone reviews
  • Provide integrated ISS Program input to resolve issues
  • Provide support to NASA Transportation Integration Office (TIO) management by reviewing deliverables
  • Analyze, review, and integrate ISS inputs of vehicle provider planning and verification closure documentation
  • Develop, maintain, and provide technical review, and verification of Specifications, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and Interface Requirements Documents (IRDs)
  • Manage execution of the VV verification closure process for ISS requirements

Requirements

  • Support on-site at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), integration, coordination and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with management, customers and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office tools (including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams), SharePoint
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and technical writing
  • Ability to work effectively in both a team environment and independently
  • Provide evidence of increasing responsibility in test and verification activities over at least a ten-year period
  • BS degree in engineering (Aerospace or Mechanical preferred, but not required)
