About the role
- Coordinates with site and content owners for site creation, development, sustainment
- Ensuring compliance with SharePoint governance policies
- Configures and manages access to SharePoint sites, conforming to business requirements and processes
- Meets with customers to develop tools and solutions to meet customer requirements
- Plans and provides support for SharePoint migrations and upgrades
- Troubleshoots SharePoint site and access issues and assists with resolution
- Provides SharePoint training and develops documentation and reference guides
- Attends SharePoint Community of Practices meetings and advocates on behalf of the programs supported
Requirements
- Experience as a SharePoint Developer in the analysis, design, hands-on development, and delivery of SharePoint Sites
- Client-facing communication skills with the ability to present business cases, strategies, and solutions in a team environment
- Experience translating functional requirements to system requirements
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SharePoint Online, Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI), and Microsoft Project
- Experience using JIRA to track and monitor planned work
- Working knowledge of the software development life cycle
- Education and Relevant Work Experience: A BS/BA degree in an information technology field or equivalent experience in related field.
