About the role
- You take on the technical leadership of your team and are responsible for developing and advancing technical strategies
- You contribute your technical expertise directly to customer projects for at least 60% of your time
- You participate in sales discussions, support customer acquisition with your technical expertise, and actively contribute to ARES’s growth
- In addition to technical leadership, you will have the opportunity to be involved in personnel/disciplinary decisions
- You enable and empower your team members to develop personally and professionally
- You manage the organization and assignment of your consultants to projects
Requirements
- You hold a degree or vocational qualification in information technology or a related field
- You are enthusiastic about building a young company and team and enjoy growing together
- You have experience in pre-sales
- You have knowledge and experience in (technical) project management
- You have extensive experience with common infrastructure software and tools (Kubernetes, cloud providers/hypervisors, monitoring solutions, databases, IaC tools, DevOps)
- You are interested in recruiting, directing and leading personnel and ideally have prior experience in these areas
- You enjoy cross-functional topics such as marketing
- You are solution-oriented, resilient and open to innovation
- You are self-driven, customer-focused and a strong communicator with clients and colleagues
- You are willing to travel up to one week per month (max.)
- You have very good German and English language skills
