Operations

• Communicate with internal and external counterparties such as borrowers, banks, attorneys, and other vendors to answer questions and resolve any issues throughout the investment life cycle.
• Research and determine operational needs for potential investments
• Coordinate a smooth closing process so all investments are funded on schedule
• Resolve any operational issues that arise during the investment process
• Work with Real Estate investment team to research and source new investment opportunities
• Monitor investment performance after closing and assist with any requests
• Manage internal workflow progression and Pipeline status updates to ensure various internal teams are fully prepared ahead of scheduled closes.
• Participate regularly in weekly closing meetings, funding pipeline calls, and deal-specific working sessions to ensure operational readiness across internal teams.
• Address and resolve various internal and external queries related to funding, documentation, deal data, and operational workflows.
• Support KYC/AML onboarding and refresh cycles across new borrowers, counterparties, and legal entities by collecting required documents, coordinating with internal Compliance, and ensuring timely submission.
• Navigate and manage multiple internal proprietary systems (i.e. pipeline) critical to Arena’s deal execution and servicing processes.
• Maintain organized deal folders across internal systems ensuring all closing documents, updated agreements, and funding materials are saved in the correct locations.
• Gather all required internal approvals and submit finalized documents for execution through DocuSign.
