About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, manage and support pre and post contract commercial activities of the Business Unit
  • Contract procurement and risk management
  • Maximizing cash management and profitability of the business unit
  • Protecting Ardmac’s financial and contractual position
  • Ensuring financial close on each project in a timely fashion
  • Managing dispute resolution
  • Implementation of strategic commercial plans
  • Working with Project Delivery Teams in ensuring compliance with contractual timescales
  • Ensuring effective commercial management including training and coaching
  • Developing relationships with clients/supply chain/professional team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Commercial background in quantity surveying with experience of coaching and mentoring more junior surveyors
  • Experience of fit out projects in data centres or other industrial projects preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of claims and dispute resolution
  • Knowledge and understanding of subcontract/material orders and procurement
  • Preparation and understanding of financial reports
  • Commercial strategy and innovation to maximize profit and cash management
  • Ability to manage commercial aspects of multiple projects
