About the role
- Oversee the lifecycle of SaaS and on-premise applications across business, laboratory, and production areas
- Manage application configuration, upgrades, patching, user administration, and end-of-life transitions
- Maintain system documentation, architecture diagrams, and change control records
- Develop and support integrations using APIs, ETL tools, and system connectors to ensure data consistency across ERP, LIMS, MES, QMS, and other platforms
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for assigned systems using IT ticketing systems such as Topdesk
- Coordinate issue resolution with internal teams and third-party vendors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand operational needs and translate them into system requirements
- Liaise between users, IT, and vendors to ensure applications and data solutions support strategic goals
- Participate in project planning, execution, and change management for new systems or enhancements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in IT systems engineering, software application support, or a similar role
- Strong experience with enterprise software systems (ERP, QMS, LIMS, MES)
- Experience with integration technologies (REST/SOAP APIs, ETL tools, middleware)
- Knowledge of GxP, data integrity (ALCOA+), and validation practices in regulated environments (pharmaceutical/biotech preferred)
- Hands-on experience managing or supporting system integrations and connectors
- Experience providing Tier 2/3 support and using IT ticketing systems such as Topdesk
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills
- Understanding of cybersecurity and risk management related to application and data governance
