About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own and lead the month-end and year-end close processes
Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
Lead technical accounting matters and serve as the primary point of contact for audit coordination
Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and executive leadership on strategic initiatives
Lead acquisition integration and accounting process alignment initiatives
Drive process improvements, automation, and scalability within the accounting function
Own internal controls and compliance activities, including risk assessment and remediation
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis projects, partnering with FP&A and executive leadership
Manage and develop accounting team members, providing mentorship and professional growth opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including prior people-management experience
CPA designation required
Prior Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred
Combination of public accounting and corporate industry experience preferred
Experience within IT services, technology, SaaS, consulting, or managed services industries is considered a strong asset
NetSuite experience is a plus
Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls
Proven track record of leading teams and driving results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Ability to operate independently and make sound judgment calls with minimal oversight
