About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage import and export processes from planning through final delivery, ensuring compliance with deadlines, costs and regulatory requirements;
Analyze and optimize routes, transport modes and logistics operations in coordination with freight forwarders, customs brokers and carriers;
Monitor tariff classification (NCM), administrative treatments and special customs regimes (Ex-tarifário, Drawback, among others);
Verify documents such as invoices, packing lists, B/L, AWB, certificates of origin and other legal requirements;
Oversee customs clearance, controlling lead times according to the department's planning;
Operate with government platforms (Siscomex, DUIMP, Siscoserv, among others);
Prepare logistics performance reports (KPIs), proposing continuous improvements in time, cost and quality;
Ensure compliance with national and international regulations, internal policies (SOX) and best practices in foreign trade;
Maximize cargo consolidation with Brazilian suppliers.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Advanced or fluent English and/or Spanish (essential for reading, writing and communication with suppliers and Arcos markets).
Bachelor's degree in Foreign Trade, International Relations, Business Administration, Logistics or related fields.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in similar roles, with solid background in international logistics and customs procedures;
Previous experience in the capital goods, industrial equipment or similar sectors will be considered a differential.
Knowledge of customs and tax legislation applied to international trade;
Product/tariff classification of goods (NCM/HS);
Special customs regimes (Drawback, RECOF, Ex-tarifário);
International logistics: transport modes, Incoterms 2020, freight, warehousing and insurance;
Foreign trade systems (Siscomex, DUIMP, LPCO, Siscoserv);
Advanced Excel and data analysis tools;
