About the role
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and present the best data modeling solutions;
- Abstract business concepts into quantitative metrics (KPIs, OKRs, etc.);
- Model and architect data for analytical purposes following best practices, including data quality and documentation;
- Orchestrate workflows related to data pipelines.
Requirements
- Experience implementing, maintaining, and monitoring data pipelines;
- Advanced proficiency in SQL;
- Experience with analytical data modeling (star schema, snowflake, and Data Vault);
- Knowledge of architectural approaches for analytics (Data Mart, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Mesh, etc.);
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Looker, Metabase, Power BI, etc.);
- Strong communication skills to engage both technical and business stakeholders;
- Experience coordinating stakeholder alignments: understanding business needs, presenting solutions, and validating deliverables;
- Experience orchestrating workflows with Airflow, Luigi, Azkaban, dbt, or Dataform;
- Knowledge of Python, Scala, Java, or Go.
