About the role

  • For over 40 years, Archmill House Inc. has been a trusted leader in the creation of high-end millwork and premium store fixtures across North America. Archmill Solutions Inc. is a US affiliate delivering Rapid Re-Image™ restaurant remodeling for Quick Service Restaurants. Reporting to the Head of Delivery, the Site Manager will oversee and manage all on-site activities for commercial construction projects. Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget while maintaining quality standards and adhering to regulations. Client-facing role collaborating with franchise owners, trades, subcontractors, building officials, and Archmill team members. Extensive travel and onsite work required; projects typically last one to four weeks. Oversee day-to-day site operations, enforce safety, coordinate subcontractors, conduct quality control and reporting, and resolve construction issues. Willingness and ability to travel approximately 90% of the time. Required to work in construction settings with loud noises, PPE, standing for extended periods, lifting >35lbs, and occasional overnight work.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in commercial construction projects. Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, ensuring accurate execution and compliance with the design and scope requirements. Experience in constructability analysis, identifying potential issues early and providing clear guidance to trades Maintain a high sense of urgency and adaptability to manage fast paced project timelines. In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines. Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment. Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore). Relevant certifications or licenses are advantageous. Must have a valid passport.
