About the role

  • Review, revise, and validate Geometry assessment items to ensure alignment to Arkansas Math Standards, accurate DOK levels, mathematical correctness, and clarity
  • Document findings for each reviewed item, including accuracy verification, alignment notes, and suggested edits
  • Validate assessment items for alignment to Arkansas Mathematics Standards and ATLAS assessment expectations
  • Revise and, when needed, create items to meet quality, rigor, and alignment expectations
  • Collaborate with project leads to maintain consistency across items
  • Attend calibration sessions and complete project-related professional development
  • Meet all deadlines with a commitment to accuracy, thoroughness, and quality

Requirements

  • Valid Arkansas Teacher Licensure in Mathematics (Grades 7–12)
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics (Preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of ATLAS Geometry expectations, including DOK levels, item formats, and standard alignment
  • Experience designing Geometry assessments preferred
  • Completion of DESE, ESC, and/or Cambium professional development related to ATLAS
  • Deep understanding of Depth of Knowledge levels, especially within Geometry
  • Strong familiarity with current Arkansas Math Standards and Geometry frameworks
