About the role
- Lead and mentor the production team and subcontractors, providing guidance to meet Archadeck’s 'Quality Standards' on every build
- Review sold projects for buildability, submit construction drawings for approvals, and manage the full project timeline from permit to punch list
- Manage jobsite materials, verify take-offs, and develop weekly production goals to ensure resources are positioned for maximum efficiency
- Provide daily status updates on active projects and manage customer expectations with a high standard of service
- Manage job costing and project closing procedures to ensure every build meets budgetary requirements
- Develop new systems, tools, and methods to improve profitability and client satisfaction across the board
Requirements
- 3+ years of construction management (outdoor living, residential remodeling, or custom home building experience is a major plus)
- Technical Savvy: Proficient in using Microsoft software
- Comfortable using both desktop and mobile technology to manage projects
- Ability to multitask across several high-stakes projects at once without losing sight of the details
- Strong verbal and written skills to coordinate tradesmen, provide feedback to crews, and present professionally to clients
- A proactive mindset—to see potential site issues before they become expensive delays
- Degree in Project/Construction Management preferred (extensive relevant experience will be considered instead of a degree)
- Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
- OSHA certifications (preferred but not required)
