About the role

  • Gather, process and present data to aid in informed decision-making
  • Work closely with senior analysts and managers for accurate and timely reporting
  • Maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Excel, SQL, PowerBI
  • Responsible for the preparation and delivery of periodic management reports
  • Upload and download data from various sources
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights
  • Reconcile and validate data for accuracy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for analytical support
  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes

Requirements

  • 1-3+ years of finance or data analytics related experience, preferred to have insurance knowledge or background
  • Intermediate level SQL and Excel experience, adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
  • Knowledge of and experience with reporting tools & databases (SQL Server & PowerBI)
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent organization skills, attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Excellent critical thinking skills to flag data issues
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative team
