About the role

  • Define and maintain Arch’s enterprise AI strategy aligned with 2030 objectives & vision
  • Identify high-impact AI use cases and set measurable goals for adoption and impact
  • Develop appropriate governance frameworks to enable AI adoption with the right controls
  • Prepare Arch for advances such as agentic AI and autonomous systems
  • Actively partner with senior leadership to prepare Arch for AI impact across four pillars: Business, Workforce, Governance & Controls, Technology
  • Manage and coordinate the AI Advisory Group composed of external AI experts
  • Conduct deep external sensing and future visioning to inform strategy
  • Produce an annual report assessing Arch’s AI posture, progress, risks, and opportunities

Requirements

  • 15+ years in AI strategy, delivery, or technology leadership roles
  • Deep understanding of AI technologies, applications, and governance needs
  • Deep understanding of insurance-related data, and the data needs to support AI broadly
  • Experience managing enterprise-level programs and cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in quantitative, business or technology-related discipline preferred
  • Ability to travel 1-2 days monthly or as needed
