Responsible for financial close activity, including but not limited to: Prepare various business unit financial statements and supporting exhibit
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
Process manual entries to sub-ledger and general ledger: Calculate reinsurance transactions according to contracts
Prepare Reinsurance Statements monthly
Process all Reinsurance related cash activity and update applicable sub-ledgers
Assist with financial audits
Participate in special projects and financial analysis as assigned by management

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
1+ years of financial analysis and accounting experience, excluding internship experience, preferably in insurance, financial services, or a public organization
Highly proficient with Excel, including strong knowledge of vlookups, pivot tables, formulas, and data management, MS Word, Outlook
Working knowledge of Workday Financials or other cloud ERP systems
Experience with Business Intelligence tools (i.e. Power BI)
